Meet the Tailwaggers
-
Adria
OWNER
In 1994, Adria began walking dogs, part time, while attending U of T to become a teacher. However, instead of teaching, her love of her pooches inspired her to open Tailwaggers in 1996. (One of the first dog walking services in Toronto). Her love and passion for dogs has only increased over the years and in 2010 Tailwaggers expanded to include a Doggy Daycare & Grooming Salon!
-
Erin
GROOMER
Erin has over 15+ years of grooming experience. Her gentle touch and care does not go unnoticed by all of the pooches she grooms and makes beautiful. As the first official employee hired by Tailwaggers in 2010, she also has developed a close relationship with all of the dogs in daycare.
-
Sassy
DAYCARE STAFF
As sweet as can be and one of a kind, Jennifer (aka Sassy) started out as an eager co-op student in 2016. She was one of those girls who would stay passed her hours or until closing time to offer a helping hand with a smile and to love the pooches. Being a dedicated family person it is clear that she has a huge heart and would make an amazing addition to any business. How lucky are we to have this Sassy Girl?
-
Ana
DAYCARE STAFF
Since childhood, Ana has had a passion and love for dogs. In September 2022, this passion led her to sign up at Tailwaggers for her high school Co-op. Ana would even come to work on her days off! She is now an integral part of our team and her love for the pooches is in full display everyday!
-
Emma
DAYCARE STAFF
Emma has loved animals since she was very young. She knew she wanted her career to involve dogs in some way. In September 2021, Emma began her high school Co-op placement at Tailwaggers and was hired shortly after. She has been loving her job ever since!
-
Sam
DAYCARE STAFF
A lifelong animal lover, Sam’s relationship with Tailwaggers began as a placement student in 2017 while studying at Sheridan under their Animal Care program. It wasn’t until 2022 that an employment position opened up, but this has been her dream job ever since. When she’s not working, she’s usually watching hockey, hanging out with her guinea pig, and missing the dogs.
